I would like to setup a new OSPF device on a vlan/subnet where 6 other NX-OS
devices are already operating, used as a transit segment: unfortunately all devices
run MD5 authentication on their interfaces, and the secret is type 3 encrypted (I
gues that means 3des)
ip ospf message-digest-key 1 md5 3 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I don't have the cleartext available, even if I have full privilege access on all devices:
is there a way to obtain the cleartext and decrypt the type 3 cipher?
