There's a new SDK available through the Cisco DevNet portal. The Jabber Guest SDK enables organizations using Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) and Cisco Expressway to connect with remote visitors (guests) through their website or iOS mobile application using instant-on, real-time voice and video.
Some of the capabilities this SDK allows you to guest users include:
- Simple, registration-free access Windows support using Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox
- Mac support using Safari, Chrome and Firefox
- iOS devices using native applications (Cisco app in App Store or custom integrations)
- Point-to-point video
- Point-to-many video (videoconference)
- The ability to see themselves before going live on video
- In-call control through a keypad
- The ability to "mute" video, audio or both
- The ability to see themselves as well as call recipient
- The ability to see screen content shared by call recipient
- The choice of camera and audio device
