Suppose if you have the file saved as abcd.pkt in Packet Tracer.
And now u want to save a file as a.pkt or ab.pkt or abc.pkt, the longer the name gets similar, the more annoying it will get. Your Packet Tracker will hang unless you go use another application pressing Alt + Tab shortkey.
Hence if u want a save a file as abc.pkt, you have to press Alt + Tab three times.
I don't know how PT is working on other Linux distribution & Mac OS, but the new version of PT only resolved old dependencies problem which I talked about here a month ago.
I dunno who will sort this problem, or who is responsible for this. But this is a very old problem. Someone needs to address this issue. PT is still very popular among CCNA and other networking students. CML gets hardly any attention from our teachers & YouTubers. We can't go against the teacher and use other software. Please fix this issue.
We need PT 7.3.2 bug fix update addressing this issue.
