Custom pollers and dashboard-side hacks holding your monitoring together? I rebuilt the observability stack behind one of my network automation demos, moving to gNMI streaming telemetry with gnmic, NATS JetStream, Prometheus, and Alertmanager, each container owning exactly one job in the pipeline.
