What are general steps on using SNMP to connect a lab (in this example, "Open NX-OS Programmability")?
As far as I understand, I can create a SNMP user (apart from the one listed by "show snmp user"). How do I connect to the lab via SNMP after that?
(I searched the forums, but not too much useful information so far)
Thanks.

Hello, i found this document that might help here --> https://developer.cisco.com/docs/nx-os-n3k-n9k-api-ref-7-x/#!configuring-snmp - please not that the devnet sandbox has limited outbound access for secruity posture.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link to SNMP setup document.
The only remaining question is whether the lab will accept SNMP connections directly from the system I use to SSH to it.

For reserved sandbox, you should be fine with inbound connection on ssh.
Hope that helps!
