AnyConnect unable to connect to gateway?

So I'm a Mac user on 10.15.x, but I believe my AnyConnect client is up-to-date?  But I'm unable to get the VPN connection working and I've already tried tethering off my cellphone (can't say I ever trust the PaloAlto firewalls we have).

Any chance my problems are related to AWS nonsense earlier today?  I see "usw1" in the FQDN that I was given and I believe Amazon said there were problems with uswest1(?):

Our sandbox service does not depend on AWS. Please check if you resolve devnetsandbox-usw1-reservation.cisco.com with IP

So it might’ve been something with my Anyconnect client? I upgraded from 4.8 to 4.10 and was able to connect to the labs.
