I am trying to run a lab on the DevNet sandbox, but facing connectivity issue - cannot access gitlab.com and hence clone a repository for my lab. I guess, I need specify some https_proxy, but provided lab connection guide does not give this information.
[developer@nso ~]$ git clone https://gitlab.com/nso-developer/device-automaton.git
Cloning into 'device-automaton'...
fatal: unable to access 'https://gitlab.com/nso-developer/device-automaton.git/': Failed to connect to 2606:4700:90:0:f22e:fbec:5bed:a9b9: Network is unreachable

I do not believe sanbox allow to download any content from git.

Hi Balaji
Here is an NSO package that describes exactly like that, meaning the developers of that package and documentation tested the whole installation process. I wanted to deploy and run the package in the DevNetLab, basically repeat their tests, but this issue holds me back.

i understand that git, but i am more suggesting, I do not believe sandbox has that capability to download from externally (that what I was in impression)

@ygorelik i am not sure then the repo was built/tested there has been a security posture in place preventing external internal access for while on 90% of the sandboxes for a few years now.
Hope this helps.

Most of the sandboxes have a devbox linux node with access to internet/github. In the NSO sandbox for example it should be possible to clone the repo on the devbox and SCP it to the NSO host.
