Instance Catalyst 8000 Always-On Sandbox-20250711T11572326
First time user of the Catalyst 8000 Always On today. The sandbox fired up quickly, no issues there.
The hostname displayed on the left side by my login credentials (sandboxiosxeaotest.cisco.com) was not resolvable. I did find the correct hostname (devnetsandboxiosxec8k.cisco.com) on the non-dynamic notes on the right side under Instruction/Public URL is resolvable and I was able to SSH into the router.

Host sandboxiosxeaotest.cisco.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN) ➜ ~ host devnetsandboxiosxec8k.cisco.com devnetsandboxiosxec8k.cisco.com has address 131.226.217.182
I don't know if this has affected others or just me, but I wanted to report in case it was a larger issue.

You're right - that is an issue. I still get the same when I launch the sandbox. Sounds like something that has been missed when updating/revamping the sandbox. Is this something that you can fix @jokearns1?

I tested today and I don't see the sandboxiosxeaotest.cisco.com anymore. The instructions on the I/O tab are displaying devnetsandboxiosxe.cisco.com so I think is working now.

I think this is still an issue. I have started Catalyst 8000 Always-On Sandbox and have the following endpoints. None of them working unfortunately...:
sandboxiosxeaotest.cisco.com <<< In the left side of the screen. Not resolvable
devnetsandboxiosxec8k.cisco.com << In the instructions tab, resolves to 131.226.217.182 but not responding to SSH
devnetsandboxiosxe.cisco.com << In the "IO" tab , resolves to 131.226.217.182 but not responding to SSH
If you could please have a second look that would be great.

Hi @jotasan23 thanks for pointing out the sandboxiosxeaotest.cisco.com name is on the left side of the screen. I missed that one. I confirm is there and I will report it to the team to fix it.
For SSH the urls on the instructions and I/O tab thanks for pointing out they differ, another miss on my side. I will ask the team to use only one for all on the sandbox, it gets confusing.
SSH is working now, I suspect someone removed something given this is a shared resource, that happens from time to time. If you need a dedicated environment, there are reservable sandboxes with C8k or C9k available, so consider use them.
