You can find how to in the sandbox instructions, under access details.

FMC API Explorer Access

The API Explorer URL is publically available. However, in order to login to the FMC, users must first be allocated credentials. This is done by launching the lab for however long you require access i.e. hit the "Launch" button on the tile. Once reserved, a username/password will be sent to you via email and also displayed in the "Quick Access" tab in the topology page. These credentails are valid for the duration of your reservation. You will not be able to login to the API Explorer once the reservation as ended.

Hi Jesus,

Thanks for your reply.

I already launch the sandbox and got username and password but after logging in - it's keep popping up to ask username and password. How should i access that API Explorer?

thanks in advance.

I've launched 4 sessions for FMC. The first one on May 1st, I was able to get to the API explorer, the FMC GUI, and I was able to use the API successfully. On May 2nd, I was able to do the same in a new session. Not long after my session ended on May 2nd, I started a new session at 12:36am on May 3rd and was no loner able to authenticate. I repeatedly receive a 401 unauthorized when browsing to the api explorer, the FMC GUI, and when using the API via python. When I go back to the Operations Hub (https://devnetsandbox.cisco.com/DevNet/operation_hub), it shows an active session, but when I click on it, I get this error: We looked for this environment in all corners of your Torque, but it no longer exists.Go back to the Environments page to open another environment or launch a new one. When I go back to the Environments page and try to launch a new session, I get the error: Operation has failed.

During the time I had the lab, it worked great. The API explorer was great. Being able to test with the API via python was great. Access to the GUI was nice as well. Given all of this was working before, I'm fairly certain it isn't me. I've double and tripled checked the credentials, updating it for each new launch. I've tried clearing my cookies, tried both Safari and Chrome, and have tried from 3 different machines. I'm at a loss.

I terminated the last session, launched a new one, and now I am able to authenticate.
