I have configured CTI ports and IP communicator extensions in CUCM.

In TAPI tester i can only see the CTI port line but not the IP communicator extensions. Need to understand how can i see the IP extensions in TAPI tester as i have to monitor the IP extension from my application.

Ref attached screenshot -TAPI Dialer.jpgCUCM-1.jpg

The IPC should show up on the device list when it is associated to the TSP user.  As dialer.exe may not include code to handle dynamic addition of the device, you  may need to restart it.

Can you please extend my lab reservation till 15th April.

Hi,

Unfortunately, your reservation cannot be extended at this time as the VLAN will be used by a different user. You can book another environment when the current one is completed.

Hello,

We are working on important UCSF integration. And I have a lot of setup in Collaboration 11 sandbox.

Can you please extend our lab reservation:

  devnetsandboxlabs.cisco.com/rave18 till May 15.

Thanks,

Olga Khylkouskaya.

Can we access the CISCO switch (CTI manager/CUCM) without installing/using the CISCO TSP?

Can we install the CISCO TSP on server and application on another computer.

I have application running on computer A and want to access the TAPI services of computer B. Will it work?

Not directly.  The service on computer B could expose its own simple custom API to multiple additional clients (computer A), but any app directly interacting with TAPI will need to have TAPI installed.

(Note, JTAPI has equivalent capabilities and is cross-platform, though more suited to server-to-server scenarios.)
