VPN'd into Kubernetes lab --- https://10.10.20.12 to APIC --- but userid/password received in EMAIL that lab was ready to go doesn't work

I am able to VPN in with the credentials I was sent.

I am able to connect to the ACI fabric (https://10.10.20.12).

I get the expected login screen.

I use the userid/password combo that was sent to me via EMAIL - doesn't work.

I tried admin with that same password. Doesn't work.

I tried admin with the password used for the ACI Hardware lab (10.10.20.42). Doesn't work.

Out of ideas on how to get logged in.
