Fabric error

Hi everybody

can you tell me what is the fabric and how it works, because I had a problem in one RSP of router 7606.

this error appeared.

FABRIC_INTF_ASIC-DFC4-5-FABRICSYNC_REQ

I found that this is a component of card that it transports the packets, but It isn´t so clear for me.

can you help me? "Fabric"

Hi

Fabric term is used to represent a technology, in this case it can be associated to the technology used on the card, now this is error could be a bug or definitely the card is not working properly, you could open a case with the Cisco TAC to request a RMA.
