Hi

I am checking the switchCore and I came across these logs

Oct 15 20: 58: 17.166:% SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host b0c0.906e.ccf7 in vlan 1 is flapping between port Gi1 / 0/3 and port Gi2 / 0/21 (YDM-Core-2)

.Oct 15 20: 58: 33.780:% SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 4074.e0d1.79e6 in vlan 1 is flapping between port Gi1 / 0/3 and port Gi2 / 0/21

Oct 15 20: 58: 33.787:% SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 4074.e0d1.79e6 in vlan 1 is flapping between port Gi1 / 0/3 and port Gi2 / 0/21 (YDM-Core-2)

.Oct 15 20: 58: 17.086:% SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host b0c0.906e.ccf7 in vlan 1 is flapping between port Gi1 / 0/3 and port Gi2 / 0/21

Send them every minute

Check the port settings and this appears:

interface GigabitEthernet1 / 0/3

description Switch 1 - Controller 1

switchport mode trunk

interface GigabitEthernet2 / 0/21

description Switch 2 - Controller 1

switchport mode trunk

Access point controllers are connected to the ports.

Is it normal to show me these logs? Should I change any settings?

Basically you're having the same copy of the frame in two interfaces, maybe the other medium is acting as a hub, because is replicate the same mac address.

No, is not normal, because your switch is seeing the same mac in two interfaces and is something that you want to avoided, because the switch is process switching in a loop, can cause increase of your memory.
