Hello everyone! Here are the release notes for our most recent updates to Duo.

Public release notes are published on the Customer Community every other Friday, the day after the D-release is completely rolled out. You can subscribe to notifications for new release notes by following the process described here. If you have any questions about these changes, please comment below.

Navigation updates in Duo Admin Panel

  • Duo updated Community and Read Release Notes hyperlinks in the sidebar navigation to reflect the Duo Community’s migration to the Cisco Community.

Now in public preview: New Settings endpoint parameter for Duo Admin API


Duo now collecting and applying policies to Apple Rapid Security Response version information for macOS and iOS endpoints

Three new named SAML applications with Duo SSO


Authentication Proxy version 6.0.2 released

  • The value for allow_concat in the radius_server_eap section now correctly defaults to True.
  • The Authentication Proxy connectivity tool and Authentication Proxy Manager now raise an exception if the Authentication Proxy is given a password-protected certificate.
  • Fixed a resource leak related to failed TLS connections.

Duo Device Health Application for macOS version 5.3.0.0 released

  • Added improvements to support script.
  • Added collection of information related to whether the device is managed.

Duo Device Health Application for Windows 10 and 11 version 5.3.0 released

  • Added collection of information related to whether the device is managed.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause a device to be identified as a virtual machine when certain Windows security features were enabled.

duo_unix-2.0.2 released 

  • Make check now successfully runs on Solaris.
  • Added package support for Debian 12, Fedora 37, and Fedora 38.
  • Fedora 34 and Debian 10 support is deprecated and will be removed in the next release.
  • Ubuntu 18.04 and Debian 9 are no longer supported.

Duo Mobile for Android version 4.46.0 released

  • A new Export Diagnostic Logs feature is available on the Settings page.

Duo Mobile for iOS version 4.46.0 released

  • Miscellaneous bug fixes and behind-the-scenes improvements.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed duplicate and missing data issues in the Duo Admin Panel WebAuthn and U2F page.
