Hello,
is it possible to access an USB storage device from inside an LXC container?
In the package.yaml you can specify devices, but only the device type serial seems to be supported.
Accessing the device from the GOS works flawlessly.
But I don't see any way to forward it to the LXC container.
Thanks,
Matthias

Hi Matthias,
For mounting USB storage to container, officially, that is not supported in current version. But we have a engineering workaround solution. Please mail to ipg-partner-eng-support@external.cisco.com to seek further help.
Thanks

Is it possible to post the solution here? We also need an LXC to be able to write to an external USB device. We are using v.1.5.1.5 (in case this is now supported). Thanks.

For the latest version, it is supported already. Please refer to https://developer.cisco.com/docs/iox/#usb-device-usage
