Certificates in Load Balance Ironport

Hi people, i'm in a project to get two IronPorts working together. They will have the same configurations and i'll make the balance trough MX records on my DNS.

A new question is: How about the certificates??

I do not have or use specific CA, i am just using the self created certificates (default) for HTTPS access, and so on.

If i do a CONFIGURATION FILE IMPORT and CONFIGURATION FILE EXPORT between the two boxes to share their settings:

- Those certificates will be imported as well?

- If do not, will i need to export and import then manually?

- Or does not matter, i can create or use default certs that existis on the new IronPort box?

Thanks a lot.

Yes the certs come over.  No you don't need to do the import/export.

You can use the default certs, though some sites require that the cert match the mail host name, eg. smtp.company.com has to have a cert that matches either smtp.company.com or *.company.com... (I use a wildcard cert with no issues...)
