Can I add a manual DNS entry for an internal mail server instead of the ESA going and doing a reverse lookup?  I would like to bypass DNS lookups for a particular server.

Hi,

ESA does not have an option to add manual DNS entries.

The reverse DNS lookups are performed for all connections for reporting purposes, however you can control the action taken on reverse dns lookup failures.
