Cisco ESA/SMA Custom User Roles - Not Working

Hello and Blessed Morning!

We are attempting to create custom user roles to assign to our admins for use with the Security Management Appliance (SMA). We are using LDAP External Authentication through MS ADFS to log into the machines. This method works well with any of the already included User Roles, however, when assigning a Custom Role, it doesn't work at all. It simply defaults to full administrator privileged access despite the customized preferences.

Is this a known issue? Could we be doing something wrong? Remember that we are able to use and swap between all included user roles without issue, so we know we are utilizing LDAP and ADFS group policy correctly.

Thanks for your help!
