Cisco ESA-Virtual (Inline or transparent)

Dears;

We have a POC for Cisco ESA -Virtual , our customer wants to put this Device behind current Symantec Email Appliance , to show the powerful of Cisco ESA 

So can we use it in Inline or Transparent ? or there are other prcocedure ?

Hello,

What you would do is have a copy of the message (either by Symantec or earlier in the pipeline) sent to the ESA, and then have the ESA process the copy and discard it during delivery. You could then review the mail logs and tracking on the ESA to see how it reacted to the message and compare it to Symantec.
