Cisco Security concerns

Hi, I am a man and I've been having some security concerns about this website. When I went to register my account via Gmail, the mail that cisco sent that would finish my registration went straight to the rubbish bin on suspition of being "Potentially dangerous". It didn't say that exactly but it went something along those lines. This was frightening for my autistic self to say the least, how do I check for myself to be sure of the security of this site?

You would need to check the header of the email to check where it came from and do things like validate SPF and other security settings. mxtoolbox is a great place to check on domains and Talos is good to check on the server that sent the email.

Now, the most probable is the email was a validation link and Gmail thought it was a phishing email.
