Clarify spam notification - select users from ldap query

Hi Team,

Is this the correct way to enable spam notification to be sent to specific group of users instead of all users?

If I select "select users from ldap query" option notification are sent for only each individuals spam that are part of the ldap group. I.e. it won't send other users spam notification to everyone in the group?

Yes. Only the users in the filter (or NOT in the filter if you check the box at the bottom) will get notifications.

That's correct. Just need to ensure that you got a LDAP server profile and a group query in it configured. Also note that in the group text field, you shouldn't just fill your group name, but its full Distinguished Name (DN). It would look like this: "CN=MyGroup,DC=domain,DC=com" for example..
