Haiii my name is Haryadi

I have a question aboute Virtual ESA:

I cloned ESA virtual, which is the question?

1. Regarding the Ironport License. What does this ESA bind to?

2. If there is a migration to a new device, can the existing license still be used?

3. For transferring a license, is it enough to download the license from the Cico portal and inject it into a new VM on a new device?

please for your help.

There are notes on cloning VM's in this document.

1. I'm not sure, but I suspect there's a unique id it ties to.

2. Yes. You can spin up as many vms as you want and apply it to all them, simultaneously... your VLN is per seat.

3. Yes.

Before you clone it, suspend receiving, let the work queue empty, then shut it down and clone it.

You don't want to clone it with messages in the queue as you'll end up with duplicates...
