Our automatic config backup script does not work anymore.
The script was created like described in Document ID:118403.
scp now exit with return code 255 and text:"client_input_hostkeys: received duplicated ssh-rsa host key"
No download happened.

The script worked fine until we updated the ESA from 15.0.1 to 15.5.2 in November 2024.
Now we are on ESA 16.0.0 and script still does not work.

I found the solution!

In November we updated ESA and also the linux server, where the backup script is running.

With this update "scp" was updated from version "OpenSSH_8.4p1" to "OpenSSH_9.6p1". (ssh -V).

With the updated "scp" there is a new parameter "-O":

-O Use the legacy SCP protocol for file transfers instead of the SFTP protocol.

the scp command works again with parameter -O (upper O).
