Distribution Lists Security with LDAP

Hi,

Has any one dealed with distribution groups in IronPort and Exchange 2010?

We have some distribution groups that have "Require that all senders are authenticated" to prevent receiving emails from outside organization.

However Ironport routes emails from outside through Exchange and these group receive emails even though ""Require that all senders are authenticated" is checked. Ldap is configured to reject, but seem not to be working with distribution groups?

Has any one come to this problem and found a solution?

AsyncOS does not deal with distribution lists. That is a matter solely for your Exchange server. For AsyncOS there is no mechanism to recongnize distribution lists. It will simply receive, scan and deliver the message(s).
