I have an issue with one of my server whereby the alert emails sent from the internal server do not reach my internal/company mailbox.
However, I've tested with an external recipient (a gmail address) and the emails are received without problems
The sending address of my server is: srv1-test12@[11.11.11.11]
I've added the sender verification exceptions but still no go.
Looking at the message tracking, the message is queued for delivery and eventually get expired with the following error message:
Double bounce: Message 24019xxxx to srv1-test12@[11.11.11.11]. Reason: 5.4.7 - Delivery expired (message too old) 'timeout'
Im new to ironport and I dont know what else to check. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Hi zappo0305,
Please check if you have an SMTP route entry for domain "[11.11.11.11]" pointing to your internal MTA. If you dont have it, I would recommend adding this entry in your SMTP Routes by:
GUI -> Network -> SMTP Routes -> Add Route
