ESA Error message

Hello,

My ESA send me this message so if some one can help me to more understund what does mean and what I should do

The Critical message is:

LDAP: query ldap_accept_Query.accept result LDAP server misconfigured or unreachable

I will be thankful if you help me or you give me more information about this message

Hello Youssef,

For this error, i would normally recommend to check.

GUI > System Admin > LDAP

Check your current LDAP profiles setup.

Ensure the right IPs (or hostname) is available, if hostname, ensure that you can resolve it with DNS (CLI > nslookup <hostname>)

Or click on "Test Servers"

Double check the login credentials is correct (you may need to re-apply the login credentials) and the ports.

This error normally means your ESA is unable to connect to your LDAP servers based on the settings, where we sent the LDAP query out but received no response in the timeout window.

Please let me know that this goes.

Hello Mathew,

Thank you for your help.

It was about a switch who connect the ESA to the LDAP server, It was down for several time.

And when it come up the connection was established and the error is gone.
