ESA - rate limit

Hello,

Is it possible to configure the rate limit in "monitor only" mode?  I'd like deliver each messages but I'd like to track the rate limiting threshold.

I tried to set a "Sender Rate Limit Error Code: 220 in the mail flow policy but it is not working.

Hello Tamaszoltan,

The rate limit even if the code was changed, it'll still reject with that custom code you defined as you see as the core setting in the mail flow is to 'temporarily defer' when these limits are met.

If you would like to monitor high flow of emails but still allow, I would like to you to consider "Header Repeats " filter rule to track high volume mail.

You can use this filter to track high volume by mail-from or Subject; if you however wanted to track the connecting mail server activity - then from the top of my mind I don't believe there is an available option natively on the ESA.
