ESA - SPAM Disable login without credentials for quarantine access

Hello Everyone,

we currently have two ESA installed, no SMA at the moment (we are working on it). We are currently using AsyncOS Version 16.0.0-054 and have to update soon (i know).

We want to activate the End Users Access for the SPAM Quarantine. The Notifications work fine, the authentication via Link as well. To make it more secure, we want the Login to be possible with credentials only, not with the Link only.

The manual says the following:

I honestly cant find the switch to deselect "Enable login without credentials for quarantine access".  Can anyone tell me if this switch is exclusively for the SMA, or is there any version/feature required to use this Option?

I have the same issue with the expiring of links .. cant find that button as well

Thankyou!

Simon

In the GUI, click on Monitor/Spam Quarantine. In the grid on the top, click on the quarantine name, should be "Spam Quarantine" in blue.
In the Message body section, there's a checkbox to "Enable login without credentials for quarantine access" under the message body.
It is NOT SMA specific, its also on ESAs, its been there for a long time...

You mention expiring links? Do you mean the links in spam notification messages?

Hello Ken,

you are absolutely right, iam sorry - i was searching this button at exactly this placefor the the whole afternoon - as soon as you wrote it, i saw it.

Yes i mean the Links to the spam quarantine in the notification messages.

Looking at the ESA, compared to the SMA, the notification link expiry option isn’t there on the ESA.
