How do you allow a specific email address from a blocked Domain?

Hello!

We have the @live.com domain blocked by Mail Policies - Incoming Mail Policies - DENYLIST.

Is it possible to allow a specific email address through from that domain (eg. user@live.com)?

Thank you!

If it's a mail policy, you just need to create a mail policy ABOVE the blocking policy, set the sender to the one address you need, and then configure the filtering/security options as appropriate.
Mail Policies work from the top down, checking mail against the senders/recipients defined in the box you get when you click on the name in the gui... it picks the first one, and then processes left to right (more or less...)

But to clarify, is Denylist a content filter?

Thanks for the reply Ken.
No DENYLIST is a Mail Policy not Content Filter. I'm not sure the powers would like to create a new policy just for this one email address. I thought there might be a way to make an expiation somewhere for it, possibly in the DENYLIST policy itself?

No, there's not... but depending on how that policy is used, and you're blocking full domains so... exceptions like this are sure to pop up again.
