How do you report on sender group Blacklist

Hi,

I want to know which emails have been blocked by the sender group BLACKLIST either through the GUI or CLI.  So essentially i wont to be able to run some sort of report

You can review the report in GUI under Monitor - > Sendergroup for statistical data and perform a grep on the mail_logs as below.

 

grep BLACKLIST mail_logs -i

The grep command worked.

The customer was on 8.0.1 so no senders group in monitor. I was able to use the grep command with the IP address of the blacklisted host
grep "BLACKLIST.*x.x.x.x" I also used to -c parameter that gave me a count.

You may want to have the customer upgrade the Async OS to 9.5 or higher since 8 is end of support and would not receive any anti-spam or anti-virus updates.

An upgrade has been on the cards for the last Year !!! This is a public organisation so things move very slowly, I'm hoping the change control goes through in the next few weeks .. however the customer is fully aware that they are not getting the updates so it is their risk.
