Hi there,

whitelisting a host in an ESA can be done either via IPv4 or IPv6 IP addresses. To whitelist the salesforce MTAs  you will need to create 8 entries, in that case IPv4..

Hope that helps.

Does it possible to whitelist as "136.147.62.198-205"? to reduce entries from 8 to 1.

Yes.

Good to know, now I just need to get our management script updated to make those changes automatically.

I always had 1 entry per host so far and guess never read the technote, me bad.

  • Yes.  You can use 134.147.62.198-205
