How long is the incoming email keep in the Cloud Email Security queue when the mail server is down?

Hello,

While not recommended, an ESA can typically hold on average a million messages or more. You can also read some additional details in this tech-zone : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/email-security-appliance/118369-technote-esa-00.html

Keep in mind this of course depends on variables such as message size, available disk space, resource consumption, Etc. Also, most devices that are stuck holding that many messages normally come to crawl, so you'll start seeing other issues way before the queue becomes full.

Thank you for the ESA incoming email queue. We are about to move to Cloud Email Security service and will like to know how long does the CES retain instead?

It is the same software. The only difference being we are hosting the devices.
