Issues with current version of Java and CRES envelopes?

Am starting to get calls on people unable to open CRES e-mails locally on their workstations.  Damanged envelope   Talked with CRES chat support and all they would tell me is it is a JAVA error and that OPEN ONLINE is an option.  

Can anyone expand on what is going on?

Basically the Cisco java applet needs to be updated to work with latest Oracle JRE update
