My client is unable to receive e-mails that are secured through Cisco

Hello everyone.
My client has a printing house, he works with a large corporation that secures emails using Cisco. Until about two weeks ago, it worked with Outlook when the domain was connected to a Netvision mail server.

Not long ago I transferred all the e-mails of the printing house to Google Workspace and since then it has not been able to receive the same e-mails. I'm trying to understand what I need to configure in Workspace Admin to allow him to view and receive these emails and if it's even possible.

Thanks a lot.

Maor.

To resolve the email issue after migrating to Google Workspace:

  1. Check DNS Settings:

    • Ensure the MX records point to Google. Use MXToolbox to verify. They should look like:

      1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
      5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
      5 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
      10 ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
      10 ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
  2. Email Routing:

    • In Google Workspace Admin, check for any routing rules that might block emails: Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Routing.
  3. SPF and DKIM Records:

    • Update the SPF record:
      makefile
      Copy code
      v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
    • Enable DKIM signing in the Admin console.
  4. Test Email Delivery:

    • Send test emails to see if they are received. Check spam folders.
  5. Coordinate with IT Team:

    • Work with the corporation's IT to ensure they whitelist the new Google Workspace MX records.
  6. Contact Google Support:

    • If problems persist, reach out to Google Workspace support for help.
