Pros and cons of Virtualizing ESA

I wanted to ask if many community members had either moved to the virtual ESA or considered it and what they thought were the key advantages/disadvantages.

For those who did migrate were there any gotchas when migrating.

IronPort is a powerful and complicated beast as it is, why introduce more complexity to it

in some shops there is a Virtualization Team and there is a Messaging Team sometimes they are two different sets of people, now you have to go to two teams to get things done / fixed / patched / repaired,  ... let the finger pointing begin
