Question on CRES

Hello,

When using the CRES for email encryption, the decrypted email appears in a web browser window with this URL https://res.cisco.com

Does this mean the email is stored within Cisco's datacenter? Any option to keep the decrypted email in house?

If I remember correctly, to keep the mail on the receiving workstation you have to enable the java plugin, which while still in the gui is deprecated and broken...

SO many round and rounds with TAC about it.

Hello,

The actual email (payload data) is stored in the securedoc.html attachment that is received by the end-user. The only thing stored on the CRES servers themselves are the encryption keys.
