Hello,
I have an ESA cluster virtual.
I would like to limit the outgoing mails.
I would like the ESA to send specific number of mails per interval, but the remaining should be queued and not dropped.
I see this option in Mail Flow Policies
If I enabled it would it queue the traffic?
Or is there any other way to accomplish this?
Thanks and regards,
Konstantinos

Hey Konstantinos
Yes this would restrict your ESAs from sending to that destination domain based on the limits you configured.
Any emails that exceeds that limit will be held in your device's delivery queue until the time period reset for delivery again.
This is particularly useful to hotmail, outlook, yahoo and gmail as they run strict limits on how many emails they accept from mail servers.
Thanks,
Mathew
