Senderbase and Whitelist

I have a request from marketing to allow a vendor's email into the system.    The vendor is on a hosted email site, the lookup shows 485 domains on the mail server listed in the MX record for the vendor.     I can add the IP address of the mail server to the whitelist to bypass SenderBASE but as I read the docs ALL anti-spam is bypassed.    Is there anyway to bypass SenderBASE for specific IP addresses but still go through anti-spam?

Hi,

Yes, this is possible.

While configuring the Mail Flow Policy, you can specify if the system will or will not scan the messages with AS (Anti-Spam) or AV (Anti-Virus). You can edit the Mail Flow Policy in the WebUI, at :

Mail Policies > HAT Overview

Select the Mail Flow Policy you want to change the configuration about AS, the go to the Scan settings and disable AS. Then Submit and Commit the changes. This approach woud be better applied if you create a new Sender Group and new Mail Flow Policy so you do not change the system's defaults for the existent Sender Groups and Mail Flow Policies.

I hope this helps.
