Hello, what is the data2 interface used for? Can it be that your data2 is not allowed for external connection and it is blocked in your firewall?

Or simply a routing problem?

Data 2 interface use for outgoing mail and thats working fine. So i dont think there will be any blocking from firewall end.

Okay, but you also have the data1 for outgoing? You need to provide some more information about your setup in terms of the interfaces and routing.

As per your answers I think you have misunderstood how the ESA operates. You have one listener named MailFlow attached to interface Data1 and one listener named MailFlow-Ext attached to interface Data2. Since you have the RAT on your MailFlow listener I assume that is your external listener which handles incoming and outgoing mails to the internet. You have listener MailFlow-ext which I assume is your internal listener which delivers mail to your internal mail servers and receives mail from your internal servers. And your are trying to make a connection from MailFlow-ext/Data2 to an external mail server. In my opinion that should not work.

MailFlow-ext works to deliver mail to external world, as my sender group Relaylist and Mail flow policy Relay binded to this listener. PFA snapshot.

Hello, I think I explained it clearly in my previous post but I will try again. When you send mail from internal servers they are coming in to interface MailFlow-ext. They are processed by the ESA for whatever policy you have. After that the mails are sent externally via the MailFlow interface. You should se that in your message tracking. But also, once again, you have not provided the full picture of interfaces/ip-addresses/routing/mail routing. So my answer is based on the information you have provided.

Ok. then how can i verify my data2 interface is working fine. Should i use my internal domain as receipent mail id to check ?. IF you require message tracking logs, i can share it.

Yes, if you agree on how I believe your setup looks like then you have to make a smtp connection to one of your internal smtp servers.
