Whitelisting card numbers

Hi All,

We have an IronPort (C-380) appliance that is configured to "quarantine" messages containing credit/debit card numbers. Now, we need to exclude (=whitelist) about 100 distinct numbers from this policy because they are not actually real card numbers. I would like to get assistance/pointer on how to do it?

thanks.

You can create a text resource for this list of numbers under Mail Policies/Text Resources, score them all as "1"

Then create a content filter under Mail Policies/Incoming Content Filters, using "Message Body", and "Contains term in content dictionary".

Order this filter before the one that's doing the detection, and set the action to skip further filters.

I believe Ken was referencing GUI > Mail Policies > Dictionaries.
