Hi everyone,
I'm here as a last resort because I don't know how else to get this resolved.
3 days ago, I created a basic File Policy in Firesight. I shortly went back to it to rename it, erased the red title text for my policy and started to modify some rules. I tried to save the policy on accident without even entering a name for the Policy itself.
Since then, I can't do anything within this configuration context (Policy/File) since all i see is the progress bar (Please Wait: Loading Page Data...).
Via the Local/Configuration/Process screen, I have tried restarting the Management Console and the Machine itself. After they have rebooted and when I come back to the Policy/File configuration screen, I get the same thing (Please Wait: Loading Page Data...)
Both FireSIGHT console and FirePOWER module are up to date with the latest code.
I don't know what to do to fix this!
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you,
Martin

Finally got this resolved...
It was a software bug. Had to go in the command line of the FireSIGHT management console and erase the database entry for the file policy.
root@FireSIGHT:~# eo_tool list FilePolicy
0. b817b19e-50ad-11e5-9764-eae5a2a2ca27 (FilePolicy b817b19e-50ad-11e5-9764-eae5a2a2ca27)root@FireSIGHT:~#
root@FireSIGHT:~# eo_tool
?> del b817b19e-50ad-11e5-9764-eae5a2a2ca27
Deleted
?> exit
That's how I deleted it to get the issue resolved.

I had this problem and got it resolved using this methode described.
Thansk for updating with a solution.
