Hi everyone!
I have the next error in the SMTP configuring the SMTP client on FMC to send e-mails, the FMC is 6.2 and the relay works perfect from Windows (almost 50 devices syncing mails in & out), but FMC configured the same way:
mail sever: <IP_address>
port: 465
Protocol: TLS
I'm using authentication.
the message that appears everytime is:
Oct 07 2019 10:44:45 firepower msmtp: host=<IP_address> tls=on auth=on user=user1 from=user1@customer.com recipients=user2@customer.com errormsg='the server sent an empty reply' exitcode=EX_PROTOCOL
How can I manage to find the inner messages to understand the problem and guide the POSTFIX mail server team to solve this issue?
PS: I know the problem is not the FMC 'cuz it works with O365 and regular e-mail hosting BUT FMC can't use external mail-servers by company policies.
