Dear community,
I have implemented two nat types and am able to achieve the same result. The nat types are static and port forward nat as below:
nats
nat (inside,outside) source static R1 ASA102
nat (inside, outside) source static static R1 ASA102 service telnet telnet
objects
ASA(config)# sh run object
object service tel
service tcp source eq telnet
object network R1
host 192.168.1.2
object network ASA102
host 101.1.1.102
I am able to telnet to R1 through ASA102 using both nats, so whats the difference here?
Regards,
Isaac
