Hello
I tried to update the firepower module of a cisco 5506 firewall but the installation of the module
it is failed, The final result is always Unresponsive
ciscoasa(config)# show module

When I run the "debug cplane " command, I see some errors mentioned below:

cp_connect: Error - cp_connect() returned -1
cp_check_connection: handle -1, conflicts with connection 1 (-1)
cp_check_connection: handle -1, conflicts with connection 2 (-1)
cp_check_connection: handle -1, conflicts with connection 3 (-1)
cp_update_connection: Error updating connection_id 0
Is this a hardware issue?

Note that the ASA 5506 only supports Firepower through version 6.2.3.x.
Release 6.3 and higher is not supported on the ASA 5506-x and ASA 5512-X. If you try to install them, they will result in the error you are seeing.

Hello
Thanks Marvin and GRANT3779 for answering
The operating system of the Firewall is the following:
asa992-lfbff-k8.SPA
The version of the module that I have tried to install is the following:
asasfr-5500x-boot-6.2.3-4.img
I attach the logs of the Firepower installation process
I clarify that I have also tried with previous versions
but the result is the same

Your log attachment shows the module is now in recover mode.
You need to go into the module cli and complete the process by doing "Setup" of the boot image and "system install" of the full pkg.

Thanks Marvin
After several attempts I was able to install the module.
