overrun on portchannel

hi out there

I have a ASA5545-X which from time to time behaves a bit strange - it encounters overrun on a dual 1G portchannel:

t#   sh int | inc overrun
        48300 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 48300 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort
        32516 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 32516 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort
        406435 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 406435 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort
        311216 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 311216 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort

now - that box is seldom really heavely loaded - mostly we see 3-400mbps

According to Cisco the most common cause - as I understand it - is cpu-hogs which then caused failure in handling the incoming traffic.

I have been looking a bit at the output from sh proc cpu-hog but I cannot relate the time-stamps from when a cpu-hog is detected to when we see these overrun's.

the interfaces in the port-channel shows me these input queue currently:

input queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware (494/362)

input queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware (475/362)

Has somebody else seen similar problems on these boxes? Suggestions?

We are running ver asa962-7-smp-k8.bin
