Don't know if this would help you or not.... we use Tidal to run PL/SQL scripts that run on an AIX box... the script pipes the output to a text file ... Then in the TIDAL job setup, on the program tab specify the location of the output file in the "Capture alternate output file" field... on the Run Tab, then check the Scan output normal or abnormal, and specify the text that you want to look for . I set the abnormal button and look for ORA- .. this triggers the job abnormal event and can be handled as desired.
