Queue assignment based on expression

Queue assignment based on expression

Hi,

I have a service that needs to assign a service queue based on a value selected from a drop down. I have the task participants set to "from and expression" and use the string of
QUEUE=#Service.Data.Dictionary Name.Field Name#
where the value being captured is the same as a service team queue name in value and case. Unfortunately it's not working.

Any thoughts from anyone?

That did work, but it's contrary to what's in the namespace guide.

Hi Andy,

When building an expression for task assignment, you do not need the #Service# node in the namespace:  #Data.DictionaryName.FieldName# is sufficient.

Also, if the value is being selected in the form after the Ordering moment, be sure that you have selected the checkbox for the task which is labelled:  "Re-evaluate expressions (participant assignment expressions and task title expression) as plan advances".
