Running JBOSS as a Windows service in Portal 9.4

I am exploring ways of running JBOSS as a Windows service in portal 9.4 for Windows.  I know that the older version of Portal included JavaServiceWrapper (http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.com/) but this is not free on Windows 64bit.  JBOSS also includes a way of doing this using JBOSS native (https://community.jboss.org/wiki/JBossNativeWindows).

Does the JBOSS native option work?  What are the drawbacks to JBOSS native (i.e. why is JavaServiceWrapper better)?
