Hi,
We are facing some issues the CISCO TIDAL scheduler. Please let us know if you have come across below mentioned scenario and how you have addressed them.
If the job is scheduled around say 11:30PM and it has the dependency on another job…if the dependent job gets delayed and the date gets changed (after 12:00am) this job gets skipped for particular day from TIDAL. We end up missing the deliverable to the client if this job does not execute.
Please let me know how to address this issue.
Thanks,
Ashish

Hi Ashish,
Are you still having this issue? If the dependent job gets delayed and runs past midnight, the successor job should also be able to carryover as well (so, you would want to check under the job definition \ Options tab and make sure the disable carryoption is NOT checked); and on the same Option tab, if the job is currently running, then you would to select either run anyway, defer until complete, or defer until normal. I believe the default is set to skip...
