Hello!

I am trying to clarify one thing regarding blocking files with the malware part in firepower. Is the SMTP filter part only for  uploading and not   downloading.  Does that mean that incoming SMTP is not inspected by the FirePower?  That seems odd just blocking oneway?

What i want is to inspect incoming emails and the attachment. I know it´s not a spammodule but looking in to the attachements coming in via SMTP would be good. But reading the SMTP part make me a bit confused.

you can inspect only outgoing SMTP  traffic for uploaded files.
